Legumes

Legumes are considered quite complete foods, because they contain carbohydrates, fibers, proteins, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. Although they contain carbohydrates, they are mainly considered a protein source, which you can eat at least 3 times a week.

I legumi sono i semi contenuti all’interno dei baccelli delle piante appartenenti alla famiglia delle Leguminose, tra cui ceci, fave e lenticchie.

Sono tipici della cucina mediterranea. Ne esistono molte varietà diffuse in tutto il mondo e sono  commercializzati sia freschi, che essiccati, surgelati oppure cotti (in scatola o vetro).

In any form, legumes are a valuable source of nutrients and have numerous health benefits , as well as being affordable, tasty and very versatile.

In fact, with legumes you can create many delicious recipes to transform your lunches or dinners into tasty and full of flavor moments.

During the winter season they allow us to create substantial dishes such as soups, however, in the summer they are widely used in fresh salads.

Our legumes are particularly tasty because they are grown with natural methods without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
